Add Users To WordPress: Roles are created to give permissions to a particular user to access the WordPress site. Each and every user has their own unique role. Allocation of these roles can be done only by the Admin.
Let’s see the steps to Add Users To WordPress Easily and Quickly :
Step 1: Go to the WordPress login panel and provide the username and password to log in to the WordPress Dashboard. You can access the login panel by adding /wp-login.php at the end of your website URL.
After login into WordPress, you will be able to see a dashboard like this:
Step 2: We have to search and open the Add New. For that:
From the menu option on the left side, there are many options. Go to the Users >> Add New.
After clicking on Add New Users, you will see a similar Page like this:
Step 3: Now you just provide the following details to add new Users.
- Usernames or emails (required): Enter the valid username or e-mail address. The user will receive invitation notifications from the site.
- Role: Select the appropriate role from the role list as shown in the above screenshot
- Custom message: Enter a custom message to be sent with your invitation. It is an optional field.
Provide valid details. Send Invitation will get activated, and Then click on the ‘Send Invitation’ button to send an invitation to the User.
After sending a notification, an ‘Invitation sent successfully’ popup message will be displayed.
Step 4: Now to check whether the user is added or not. We have to search and open the All Users. For that:
From the menu option on the left side, there are many options. Go to the Users >> All Users.
If users accept the invitation then the user list will get updated, the user will be added to the user list.
