Scala Map dropRight() method with example

The dropRight() method is utilized to delete the last ‘n’ elements.

Method Definition: def dropRight(n: Int): Map[A, B]

Return Type: It returns all the elements of the map except the last ‘n’ elements.

Example #1:

// Scala program of dropRight()
// method

// Creating object
object GfG
{

    // Main method
    def main(args:Array[String])
    {

        // Creating a map
        val m1 = Map("geeks" -> 5, "for" -> 3, "cs" -> 5)

        // Applying dropRight method
        val result = m1.dropRight(1)

        // Displays output
        println(result)

    }
}

Output:

Map(geeks -> 5, for -> 3)

Example #2:

So, here an empty map is returned as all the elements of the map are deleted.
