The Gmagick::write() function is an inbuilt function in PHP which is used to write an image to the specified filename. This is an alias of Gmagick::writeimage() function.

Syntax:

Gmagick Gmagick::write( string $filename )

Parameters: This function accepts a single parameter $filename which holds the name of the file.

Return Value: This function returns TRUE on success.

Exceptions: This function throws GmagickException on error.
Used Image: To capture the canvas area

Below given programs illustrate the Gmagick::write() function in PHP:

Program 1: Writing the image.

// Create a new Gmagick object
$gmagick = new Gmagick('geeksforgeeks.png');
  
// Write the image to a local folder
$gmagick->write('my_image_name.png');
echo 'Image saved successfully';
?>


Output: This will save the image successfully.

Program 2: Writing the drawing

Output: This will save the drawing in the local folder.
