Node.js GM resize() Function

The resize() function is an inbuilt function in the GraphicsMagick library which is used to resize an image. The function returns the true value on success.

Syntax:

raise( width, height )

Parameters: This function accepts two parameters as mentioned above and described below:

  • width: This parameter is used to specify the width of the image.
  • height: This parameter is used to specify the height of the image.

Return Value: This function returns the GraphicsMagick object.

Example 1:




// Include gm library
var gm = require('gm');
  
// Import the image
gm('1.png')
  
// Invoke resize function with 1024*768
.resize(1024, 268)
  
// Process and Write the image
.write("resize1.png", function (err) {
  if (!err) console.log('done');
});

gm(600, 300, 'white')
  
// set the color for the stroke
.stroke("green", 3)
  
// Set the font
