jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxNavigationBar is used for representing a jQuery widget that has header and content sections. On clicking over the header, the content will be expanded or collapsed accordingly.

The add() method is used for inserting a new item at the bottom of the specified jqxNavigationBar.

Syntax:

$('#jqxNavigationBar').jqxNavigationBar(
    'add', 'Header', 'Content');

Parameters: This method accepts two parameters that are illustrated below:

  • Header: This is the header of the new adding item.
  • Content: This is the content of the new adding item.

Return values: This method does not return any values.
