jQWidgets jqxHeatMap paletteSettings Property

jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful and optimized framework, platform-independent, and widely supported. The jqxHeatMap represents a jQuery widget that shows a graphical representation of data that uses color-coding to represent different values.

The paletteSettings property is used to set or return the paletteSettings property. i.e. this property is used to set or return the HeatMap palette’s settings. It accepts object type values and the default value is null.

Syntax:

  • It is used to set the paletteSettings property.
    $('Selector').jqxHeatMap({ paletteSettings : object });
  • It is used to return the paletteSettings property.
    var paletteSettings = 
        $('Selector').jqxHeatMap('paletteSettings');

Properties:

  • palette: It is used to sets the color collection for the heatmap cell. It contains the following values:
    • value: palette color value.
    • color: palette color.
    • label: The label for the palette color. This property is optional.
  • type: It is used to sets the color style. The possible options are ‘Gradient’ ( used to displays the cells with linear gradient color), ‘Fixed’ (used to displays the cells with fixed color). The default value is ‘Gradient’.
  • emptyPointColor: It is used to sets the color for the empty points. The default value is ‘#eee’.
