jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxGrid is used to illustrate a jQuery widget that shows data in tabular form. Moreover, it renders full support for connecting with data, as well as paging, grouping, sorting, filtering, and editing.

The autofill property is used to activate or deactivate the automatic filling feature of the displayed jqxGrid. However, this property is helpful in filling cells automatically by pulling a handler that is visible in the focused cell’s corner. It is of boolean type and its default value is “false”.

Syntax:

Set the autofill property:

$('Selector').jqxGrid({ autofill: true });

Return the autofill property:

var autofill = $('Selector').jqxGrid('autofill');
