jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxDataTable is used for reading and displaying the data from the HTML Table. This is also used to display data from various data sources like  XML, JSON, Array, CSV, or TSV.

The serverProcessing property is used to set or return if the Sorting, Filtering as well as Paging are managed using a Server, also the displayed jqxDataTable delivers Ajax requests in the direction of a Server and reveals the data which is returned. Moreover, if the present page, page size, sort column, or sort order is altered, then the jqxDataTable will spontaneously execute a fresh data binding along with the altered parameters. It is of Boolean type and its default value is false.

The list of data that jqxDataTable sends to the server by default are as follows:

  • sortdatafield: It is the stated datafield of the sorted column.
  • sortorder: It is the stated order of sorting.
  • pagenum: It is the stated page number of the displayed data table.
  • pagesize: It is the stated page size of the displayed data table.
  • filterscount: It is the count of the filters that are applied to the displayed jqxDataTable.
  • filtervalue: It is the stated value of the filter.
  • filtercondition: It is the stated condition of the filter. And the conditions of the filter can be “CONTAINS”, “DOES_NOT_CONTAIN”, “EQUAL”, “EQUAL_CASE_SENSITIVE”, NOT_EQUAL”,”GREATER_THAN”, “GREATER_THAN_OR_EQUAL”, “LESS_THAN”, “LESS_THAN_OR_EQUAL”, “STARTS_WITH”, “STARTS_WITH_CASE_SENSITIVE”, “ENDS_WITH”, “ENDS_WITH_CASE_SENSITIVE”, “NULL”, “NOT_NULL”, “EMPTY”, or “NOT_EMPTY”.
  • filterdatafield: It is the stated datafield of the filter column.
  • filteroperator: It is the stated operator of the filter where 0 is used for “AND” and 1 is used for “OR”.

Syntax:

  • Set the serverProcessing property.
$('Selector').jqxDataTable({
serverProcessing: true,
});
  • Return the serverProcessing property.
var serverProcessing =
$('Selector').jqxDataTable('serverProcessing');
