jQuery Mobile is a web-based technology used to make responsive content that can be accessed on all smartphones, tablets, and desktops.

In this article, we will use the jQuery Mobile Toolbar destroy() method to destroy the toolbar. The destroy() method completely removes the toolbar functionality from the selected element and the element returns to its pre-init state.

Syntax:

$(".selector").toolbar("destroy");

Parameters: This method does not accept any parameter.

CDN Links: First, add jQuery Mobile scripts needed for your project.

<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”https://code.jquery.com/mobile/1.4.5/jquery.mobile-1.4.5.min.css” />
<script src=”https://code.jquery.com/jquery-2.1.3.js”></script>
<script src=”https://code.jquery.com/mobile/1.4.5/jquery.mobile-1.4.5.js”></script>

Example: This example describes the jQuery Mobile Toolbar destroy() method. When we click the button, it removes the toolbar functionality from the div with id “GFG” and the div no longer remains a header toolbar. It returns to its pre-init state.
