Direction( 1 – 5): The table below shows the number of employees in 5 companies, as well as the male to female ratio in these employees. Examine the table carefully and answer the questions that follow.

Solution ( 1-5):-

Males in Company A = 720×5/8 = 450

Females in Company A = 720×3/8 = 270

Males in Company B = 690 × 13/23 = 390

Females in Company B = 690×10/23 = 300

Males in Company C = 740×16/37 = 320

Females in Company C = 740×21/37 = 420

Males in Company D = 1050 × 22/35 = 660

Females in Company D = 1050×13/35 = 390

Males in Company E = 1230 × 2/3 = 820

Females in Company E = 1230 × 1/3 = 410

1.Question

Find the ratio of males in company A and B together to females in company A and C together.

1. 25 ∶ 21

Explanation:-

Total males in Company A & B =(450+390)=840

Total females in A & C = (270+420) = 690

Let, Number of female = x
