In this article, we’ll see how we can remove indexed URL’s on google search results using the Google Search Console tool. As a note, this process will work only for the google indexed URLs.

Need to urgently remove content from Google Search? 

Use or Setup a Google Search Console to remove unwanted, outdated, duplicated, discarded or deleted pages by requesting the removal of a URL in Google Search Console. Use the following approach to remove the URLs from Google Search Console.

Implementation

Step 1: Open Google Search Console and Sign in with your Google account.

Step 2: Search/Select your site property from the Search Console home page.

Step 3: Navigate to Index section from left pane >> Select Removals

Step 4: From Removals Section >> Click on Temporary Removals

Step 5: Click on New Request >> then a pop will open in that select Temporary Remove URL >> Enter your site URL which you want remove >> Select Remove this URL Only >> Click Next

Step 6: Verify your URL and click on Submit Request

Step 7: After you submit the request. The submitted URL will be added to Temporary Removals

There is no limit for requesting URL removal. That’s it!
