Cognizant GenC Interview Experience (On-Campus)
Cognizant was an on-campus virtual drive. They were asking for two profiles. Students can apply to any one of the profiles. They used Superset for the application process.
- GenC
Selection Process for Genc: Aptitude and English test. Then PI and HR. - GenC Elevate
Selection Process for GenC Elevate: Technical Test. Then PI and HR.
Note: If any students apply for GenC Elevate and fail then there will be no option to go back to GenC.
Criteria:
Applicants must have scored
- 60 % marks in Class 12th
- 60 % marks in Postgraduate (if applicable)
- 60 % marks in Class 10th
- 60 % marks in Undergraduate
- 60 % marks on Diploma (if applicable)
- No active Backlog and Maximum 2 years education gap allowed.
Mandatory Documents for Registration:
- My resume is attached with Passport size photograph.
- All academic documents including School Certificates, College Id Cards, and college semester mark sheets.
I applied for the GenC.
Round 1: Aptitude and English test
Round-1 Aptitude and English tests were divided into three parts. There was a total of 80 MCQ-based questions with no negative marking And the total time was 100 minutes.
- Quantitative Aptitude (25 Questions 35 minutes)
- Analytical and Logical Reasoning (35 Questions 45 minutes)
- Verbal (20 Questions 20 minutes)
Round 2: PI and HR
After the completion of the Aptitude and English test, I was selected for the next round which was PI and HR. I received a PI and HR invitation mail from Superset. The overall duration of the PI and HR interview was 35 to 40 minutes.
The expert asked me the following questions:
- Tell me about yourself.
- She gives me a topic to speak 2/3 minutes about that topic.
- She asked me some Logical Reasoning questions
- She asked me some condition-based questions and ask my opinion based on the condition.
- Do you have any questions for me?
After the PI and HR interview, I received the final selection result.
